Treehouse

Located in SW Portland, with sloping topography and large existing hills, this tree house and play area were designed for a residential client and their young kids. The play area was designed to accommodate the growth and movement of an existing stand of trees, allowing the trees to sway and flourish over time. We coordinated closely with an arborist and structural engineer to ensure the children’s play area and trees were safe, creating a harmonious and secure environment that promotes exploration and connection with nature.
