Cedar Mill Residence

Set within a wooded hillside, the design for the Cedar Mills Residence creates a series of gardens and outdoor spaces that gently terrace down the hillside.  Each outdoor space is enclosed with basalt walls that become a threshold and gateway to the adjoining garden.  Plants of varying texture and color provide seasonal interest throughout the year and a vivid foreground for the woodland beyond.
