North Portland Residence

This new garden in North Portland was part of a comprehensive renovation of the home and landscape. The landscape is designed as a series of garden rooms, from open and inviting to more private space, respecting the architecture while introducing new ideas. The central entry garden is defined by new foundation planting beds and lush lawns, enclosed by a low wood and metal mesh fence. The side yard, featuring the cabana and a tropical plant palette that reflects the owner’s heritage, is framed by a high privacy fence, creating a peaceful and intimate retreat.
