Fire Station 16
Lango Hansen helped design the exterior spaces for the new Clackamas Fire District fire station, including pedestrian access, vehicular circulation, and planting areas. A vibrant pedestrian plaza featuring bright red seating elements is located at the street frontage, symbolizing the fire department’s vital role in the community while welcoming the public. Each landscape component is carefully designed to accommodate emergency vehicle access and pedestrian safety, all while providing comfortable and attractive amenities for the fire department staff. Stormwater facilities are thoughtfully integrated into the site, emphasizing the building’s commitment to sustainability as it progresses on the Path to Net Zero through the Energy Trust of Oregon.
