PSU Viking Pavilion

Located on Portland State University’s campus at the South Park Blocks, the Viking Pavilion involved the renovation of an existing structure to create a new basketball stadium and other athletic programs. The new Viking Pavilion Entry fronts the park and is a composition of grand stair, linear terrace and stadium steps, welcoming visitors and supporting park events, such as the Saturday Farmers’ Market. Along the north side of the building roof runoff is displayed through a series of custom scuppers falling into terraced stormwater planters with integrated bike parking.
