Field Office

Located along Portland’s waterfront, Field Office is a fully integrated indoor/outdoor creative office campus where every space blends into nature and park-like environments. A series of ground floor open spaces, indoor landscapes, high parks, sky parks and green roofs blur the boundaries between built and natural environments. Inspired by the rich heritage of the historic working waterfront, the use of traditional building materials is re-imagined in the site design and outdoor furnishings. The planting design is informed by natural transitions that are fundamental to the resilience of indigenous plant communities. This restorative landscape is a catalyst for a new kind of work space designed to enhance the well-being of employees and visitors while contributing to the development of critical habitat corridors within the urban fabric.
